What should I know about altitude?
Putre is at 3,500 metres. Arriving from sea level in one day is a rapid ascent and can cause altitude illness. Plan a gradual ascent with professional guidance; if you feel unwell, stop ascending and seek assistance.
Can I arrange the hotel and tours together?
Yes. Villa Volcán Tours operates from the hotel. Select the tours option and we will coordinate accommodation, excursions and, if you need it, transport from Arica.
